The six stages of debugging
Our Product Owner & Co-Founder Toni posted on his Facebook page the 6 stages of debugging, probably thinking about our current Beta experience:
- That can’t happen.
- That doesn’t happen on my machine.
- That shouldn’t happen.
- Why does that happen?
- Oh, I see.
- How did that ever work?
This morning we run through all stages.

Squirro’s taking its first steps!
Starting last week, we are rolling out Squirro beta in small batches among the people on the waiting list. The nature of a beta as a early stage product requires a lot of testing. We’re eagerly waiting for feedback from you!
Please take a minute and give us some hints on what works, what doesn’t and what you think about tiny little Squirro. How are you using Squirro? Do you find the User Interface to be intuitive? Have you encountered any bugs or issues?
Help us raise Squirro and take knowledge curation to the next level. You’ll find the survey here - it’s just five questions long, thus a matter of a few minutes to complete it.
Tomorrow we’ll present Squirro for Salesforce at the huge Cloudforce event in London. Today was setup day. So here we are at the ExCel Center preparing our booth.
Yay! Squirro beta is about to be rolled out! If you’re among the first beta testers, congrats. For the others still waiting - here’s our brand new introduction video clip, enjoy!

[Infographic] Data tsunami ahead of us
Big data is more than just a buzz word at the moment. Big data is reality, it’s here. And it’s getting worse.
IBM designed a simple yet impressive infographic about the data flood that we are ought to expect. Besides all the nice facts, like 5 exabytes of data being being generated every two days, it conveys an important message: Big data is a threat - for those who won’t be able to handle it. And it will be a huge opportunity for those who will be able to handle the data.

Every hour, enough information is consumed by internet traffic to fill 7 million DVDs. Side by side, they’d scale Mount Everest 95 times.
